New stuff

Hard to believe I haven't blogged in so long.  Been very busy with Marketing and development.  Just finished a new HACHIDOG script with Vicki and we will start efforts to get into production.
Very excited about a Korean Venture about the life of the singer Sung Bong Choi.  I am working on this with Lynn Santer, who will co write and Priscilla Presley who will be involved in developing the film and the music.

Madrid Film Festival. Sorry for poor spellong. Don't know how to change it so will repeat. I went to the Madrid Film Festival which was from July 1 through 7. The awards were given on July 6. Our movie, A COMMON MAN, won BEST FEATURE (PRODUCERS PAUL MASON, MANOHAN NAYAKKARA and RADHA KRISHNAN) BEST DIRECTOR (CHANDRAN RUTNAM) and BEST ACTOR (BEN KINGSLEY)

Madrid Film Festival was Julli through 7. We won BEST FEATURE, BEST DIRECTOR ABND BEST ACTOR, ,,,COOL!

The movie starring Ben Kinglsey and Ben Cross, A COMMON MAN, is now complete and has been reviewed by Myriad, our distributor with pleasant responses and will be in the marketplace at Cannes. Just got back from India where we completed the mix. Chennai is a large city of 10 million with LOTS of cars and more scooters and bikes than Bangkok. Traffic is a mess, But the food was good and the work was successful so I have no complaints. Even snuck in a little sight seeing.

Now I am home and we are exploring our new projects and ventures.

finishing A COMMON MAN

A COMMON MAN, our director, Chandran Rutnam, is going to London to get the ADR from Sir Ben Kingsley. We had to go to Sofia to get the ADR from Ben Cross. This is becoming a VERY international movie....:) We will mix the film in Chennai at end of January. Myriad Distribution is selling U.S. and foreign territories. All looks very promising.

More work ongoing

Finishing A COMMON MAN. Sir Ben Knglset and Ben Cross are superb. We are currently doing ADR on both and will is in C hennai in January, Should deliver a film to our distributor, Myriad, in February. I think we really gave a good one.

Working in Sri Lanka on A COMMON MAN starring Sir Ben Kingsley and Ben Cross. Footage looks terrific. This is the same team that made THE ROAD FROM ELEPHANT PASS, which has just won an award at the New York Film Festival.

CREATURE (aka Bllod is Blood/Lockjaw) getting set for release in summer.

COMMITTED, a remake of a movie I mademany years ago with Jennifer O'Neil was just remade for Lifetime Movie channel and aired to good audiences.

Back from Sri Lanka in June and going fishing...
